Here at Sheilbaggan OEC we are dedicated to ensuring that our staff are the best they can be.
That is why we take in or train up qualified staff to have the necessary skills and qualifications to provide the best outdoor experience.
We also provide continuous professional development ensuring that all our staff are up to date with the syllabi of the national governing bodies of the various sports.
Shielbaggan is very proud of its association with the FAS training course for outdoor instructors. Sheilbaggan also offers work placement to students who are in the process of completing various other outdoor instructor courses throughout the country. Sheilbaggan also employs graduates of the BA hons Outdoor education course at GMIT .
Sheilbaggan is committed to the continuous development of the Outdoor industry in Ireland and looks for staff that are committed to the outdoors and whose participation in the activities/sports not just about a pay cheque but as a way of life.
Shielbaggan OEC will be recruiting full & part time staff for the coming session that have experience in the industry. We are looking for lively, self motivated and dynamic people who have qualifications in one or more of the activities we offer.
Full time Instructor required from April to November. This person should hold a D1 driving licence with either Level 3 Kayak/Canoe instructor award or SPA award. Any qualifications with the ICU/BCU/ISA/MCI will be considered. All relevant qualifications must be up to date and include a First Aid Cert.
